Story-telling has never left me

I’ve been editing film since I was very young; cutting 8mm reels by hand on my grandparents’ kitchen table

When I was 8, I tried drawing a laser beam onto a home movie of me at age 5, holding a space gun (see video above)… and destroyed the film

Decades later, I’d be asked to create a real one — for Star Trek: Voyager

Professional Journey

  • In 1994, I walked away from the medical field, sold everything, and moved my family to L.A. to pursue visual storytelling

  • My first industry job had me scanning and recording 35mm film for Powder (Disney) and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Saban), working alongside Emmy-winning VFX artists on shows like Star Trek and MacGyver

Proven Experience

  • Over the years, I contributed to major film and television projects like Pirates of the Caribbean, Man on Fire, The Amityville Horror, Alpha Dog, Constantine, and Bad Boys II

  • I’ve worked with Oscar-winning artists and top-tier directors, and led post-production for national campaigns for Nike, Pepsi, Bud Light, ESPN, FX, Toyota, and Jack in the Box

  • Early in my career, I worked with Kyle Cooper and Imaginary Forces, compositing his title designs for national campaigns including Nike, Target, and other recognizable brands

  • I’ve also worked on many high-profile music videos for artists including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Kid Rock, LeAnn Rimes, and Destiny’s Child — among many others

  • In addition, I’ve worked on storytelling projects for NASA and MasterClass, using creativity and technical skills to deliver videos that resonate and succeed

Signature Work

  • One of my proudest credits is directing the Tonight Show with Jay Leno main title sequence — a complex motion-control visual effect project that aired nightly for nearly five years

Skills & Services

  • I bring expertise in editing, animation, compositing, CGI, color, and sound — creative where it counts, technical where it matters — delivering solid results

My Approach

  • What drives me is story

  • I bring every tool I’ve got — editing, animation, compositing, CGI, color, sound — plus a lifetime of experience to transform your vision into a polished, unforgettable project

Let’s build something great!

Since breaking into the industry in 1995, I’ve directed for The Tonight Show, designed main titles and handled compositing for film and TV, created motion graphics for Nike, FX, and ESPN, and led cinematic storytelling projects for NASA and MasterClass.
